This is one of our favorite hikes in Ercieira and you won’t want to miss it! From beautiful farmland to cliffs teaming with wildlife to the spectacular Portugal coastline, this hike provides an amazing glimpse into Ericeira’s ecosystems and landscapes. Along the way, you’ll come across an ancient fort and a tiny traditional fishing village—check out the tiny chapel if it is open! From there you can hike along exhilarating coastal cliffs, then down to the spectacular São Julião beach where you can grab a refreshment before hiking back.
